What to include
- Take a clear photo without putting the animal at risk.
- Enter the correct NCR city and exact sector, colony, road or landmark.
- Record when and where the dog was found and note collar or distinctive marks.
- Keep public information focused on identification and avoid unnecessary private details.
Help the owner recognise the dog
Describe visible features accurately. If someone claims the dog, ask for reasonable proof such as older photographs, identifying marks or vaccination information before handover.
Check lost-dog reports
Compare your found dog's photo and location with nearby lost reports. Coat pattern and unique markings can be more useful than breed alone.
